On the banks of the Red Cedar River, it is a beautiful place to spend a short time with family and friends. The place is relatively small and cannot accommodate a large number of people. It is worth noting that mosquitoes are common in the area.
Free parking is available, as well as parking spaces for people with disabilities.
Great park and beautifully kept with awesome scenery. The only thing I think that could make it better is more shade in the play area. The slides get really hot and it it's pretty intense in the sun.
Beautiful little park next to a surprisingly large stream. Nice playground and lots of room to run and play.
The worst city park I have been to - and I’m from Detroit! I guess there were no needles, but there’s fecal matter everywhere, at least 4 droppings per square foot. There’s wasps all over the playground equipment. The river is brown and stinky. We were literally eaten alive by swarms of mosquitos-bring bug spray. I would never let my kids play here for their own safety and my own sanity.
Very fun spot to take kids and friends. Plenty of fun equipment to play on and benches and shade for when you're tired. Just make sure to plan ahead. Rain can really flood that place sometimes! (Very rare)
This is a great place for kids. We found frogs, small 🦞, fish and geese.....lots of fun. Kids can play water in the creek (with you by the side) and enjoy the time. …
Nice park for a quick walk and a few minutes for the kids to play. In the spring there's usually flooding but other times are ok. The river has some nice fishing spots from shore. Didn't see any hiking trails. With the Spring floods and available space being somewhat limited, I give this rating. But it is a nice place to visit to break up your day.
Took my Dachshund here! It was awesome! 😆 …
